You might be asking yourself…

Should we hire a wedding videographer? The answer to that isn’t always simple, BUT I have never met someone who regrets having a wedding film. If they do, they hired the wrong videographer.

Now, I’m not saying that I’m the right videographer for you, as a matter of fact, in some cases I’m not. I take my work very seriously, and only book a limited amount of weddings per year so that we can provide quality wedding films to my couples. I am just as picky about the couples I take on each year as most couples are at finding the right videographer. If you’re getting your vows off the internet, or are afraid to be vulnerable and expressive of your love, we’d be happy to recommend you to another videographer we think would serve you better. Being comfortable with me and not being afraid to cry or have a perfectly imperfect day are things I look for in my couples. It’s HUGE that my couples choose me for me. Not because of pricing or convenience, but because you appreciate my approach and my style, and are willing to work with me to make sure your wedding film is as perfect as can be.

Are photos enough?

Picture this. In the future, when you’re old and gray and your kids have kids. You’ll inevitably be babysitting your grandchildren and you sit down on the couch and you ask your robot butler to bring you some popcorn, and to play your wedding film on your super cool futuristic TV. You watch through the film and you see yourself, young and in love, all of your closest friends and family around you, sharing meaningful words and moments together. You hear your vows to each other and reflect on how far you’ve come together. All of these moments are immortalized within your wedding film. Your own children and grandchildren will know what true love is, and have something to inspire them to find the same. That’s something that photos just can’t do.

What’s more important?

The answer is neither. Both are incredibly important in preserving your wedding day. The reason I believe video is just as important is simply because photos can freeze a moment in time, but video helps you relive that moment. So much happens on a wedding day, and it goes by so quickly. Being able to see all of the moments you experienced, or may have missed happen again is what truly makes a wedding film timeless. From seeing mom cry during your father daughter dance to seeing grandma bust a move on the dance floor, so many things happen that you might miss on the wedding day. Imagine being able to show your children all of these memories and relive it in an immersive way.
